Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Atlas PDF Guides is operated by Sterling Vale LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you visit atlaspdfguides.com, buy a guide or programme, create an account in the product, or contact us (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you acknowledge this Policy.
Information we collect
- Contact and order details: your email address, name and billing details (such as country and postal code) that you give us at checkout, and the products you buy.
- Payment information: card details are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the card brand and last four digits, and transaction identifiers.
- Account information: the email address and password you use to sign in to the product. Passwords are stored in hashed form.
- Communications: messages you send us, for example support or refund requests.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar technical data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To process your payment, deliver your purchase and give you access to the product (including any Variety Vault add-on you buy).
- To send transactional emails such as your welcome email, receipts and account messages.
- To provide customer support, handle refunds and resolve disputes.
- To detect and prevent fraud and keep the Services secure.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website, as described below.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only as needed:
- Stripe, which processes payments, calculates sales tax, and helps detect fraud. Stripe acts under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. If you accept the one-click Variety Vault offer, Stripe uses the card you just entered, securely saved by Stripe, to charge the add-on.
- Hosting, database and email providers that store our records and deliver our emails.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement, as described in the Advertising & measurement section below.
- Professional advisers, authorities or a successor business where required by law or in connection with a merger, sale or legal claim.
Retention and security
We keep order and account records for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Payments are handled over encrypted connections by Stripe, and our records are stored with access controls. No online service is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong, unique password.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email us at atlaspdfguides@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
Children
The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.

Advertising & measurement
This website works with Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta") to measure the performance of our advertising. For visitors outside regions that require prior consent, this site uses the Meta Pixel, which collects information such as pages viewed and when a purchase is started, together with a pseudonymous identifier stored in your browser. Meta uses this to measure and improve ad delivery for Atlas PDF Guides.
When you start checkout or complete a purchase, the Meta Pixel (subject to the cookie choice described below) sends the event, such as the product and order value, to Meta so that orders can be attributed to the ads that led to them. Card details are never sent.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (or whose location cannot be determined) are shown a cookie banner, and the Meta Pixel only loads for them after they click Accept. We keep a record of that choice (accept or reject, the date and time, and the version of the notice shown) in your browser. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of our homepage; withdrawal takes effect immediately. You can also opt out of Meta's use of cookies for advertising via your Meta ad preferences or your browser's cookie settings.
